GO UK National Public Procurement Awards 2019
Construction Impact Framework (CIF) celebrated the one year anniversary of its latest framework by announcing they are national finalists in this year’s prestigious Go Awards for their work in tackling homelessness.
The Go Awards recognise excellence in procurement across public and private sector organisations, Sara Lawton, Director of CIF said “I couldn’t be more delighted that we are finalists in the Social and Community Benefit category; making it to the national finals is huge recognition and is a reflection of the fact we are changing lives through the power of social procurement”.
During the last 12 months CIF has been utilised for 80 appointments by our public-sector partners securing contracts worth over £27 million for regional SME’s, as a micro business we are not only making significant financial social investments in communities but we are also supporting the economic growth of the region”.
Next month will see CIF finance the role of a specialist worker to work with children who reside in a hostel for women fleeing from domestic violence; the role means that whilst the children are looked after the women can participate in support workshops, Sara continued, “this role is what CIF is about, the local authority does not have the funding to support the role so we were able to provide this crucial service’.
CIF was established in 2015 and works with NHS Foundation Trusts, Universities, Housing Associations and Local Authorities across the Region, for further information about the CIF you can email the team on firstname.lastname@example.org
