Client: University of Central Lancashire (UCLan)

In the summer of 2018, the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) procured refurbishment works of its Ribble Hall, one of the largest accommodation halls on the UCLan campus, via Construction Impact Framework (CIF).

As one of the larger halls on campus, Ribble Hall houses 20 Premium flats fitting five people per flat and 16 Standard flats, with five or six bedrooms in each.

The refurbishment works were to include numerous renovations to the existing flats, including the creation of a new Common Room, as well as the re-decoration of all flats, corridors, kitchens etc. D&G Builders & Joiners Ltd were the CIF supply partner appointed to carry out the works and we are pleased to report that works have now been completed, and the results are fantastic.

Construction Impact Framework is a value based socially driven framework; please have a look at our social impact case studies to see how University of Central Lancashire and Construction Impact Framework are changing lives through procurement.
