Client: University of Salford

The University of Salford recently procured the replacement of an air handling unit within the magnificent Peel Hall, inside the Peel Building at the university’s Salford campus.

Built in 1896, the beautiful fa├žade is constructed of red Accrington bricks and sculpted terracotta. Inside, Peel Hall seats up to 300 people in truly spectacular surroundings. The hall can be utilised for musical performances as well as more traditional conferences. The building is also home to a large number of lecture theatres, classrooms and meeting rooms, providing a historic and beautiful facility for staff, students and the wider community.

The James Mercer Group were the CIF supply partner appointed to carry out the works (via mini-competition).
