Client: University of Salford
The University of Salford recently procured ‘Mechanical & Electrical’ works through Construction Impact Framework. The works involved the replacement of the central boiler plant in the University’s Allerton Building.
More specifically, the chosen supply partner would be responsible for the removal and disposal of four redundant 1350kW boilers, including associated distribution, pumps, controls, ancillaries etc. Works will continue with the provision of new boiler plant, flues, primary distribution, controls, ancillaries etc.
Allerton Building is a large multi-purpose building situated on the Frederick’s Campus within the University of Salford. The building has many classrooms and lecture theatres, whilst there is also a large Sports’ Hall that is perfect for exams. All the spaces are equipped with high standard audio visual facilities.
The supply partner chosen to carry out these works was James Mercer Group.
