Client: The University of Salford
The University of Salford recently procured the supply and installation of a temporary portal structure (including ground enabling works) through Construction Impact Framework. The temporary facility is to act as a vehicle workshop for both teaching and research with the main focus being autonomous and driverless vehicles.
Work began on site in May 2018 and the temporary structure is now taking shape as demonstrated by the photos below. Works are on schedule to be completed by the end of September 2018, just in time for the beginning of the new academic year.
Hambling Construction were appointed to undertake the works via Construction Impact Framework.
Construction Impact Framework is a value based, socially driven framework; please have a look at our social impact case studies to see how the University of Salford and Construction Impact Framework are changing lives through procurement.
