CIF Supply Partner Rider Levett Bucknall Appointed for Consultancy Services for Fairfield General Hospital


Northern Care Alliance NHS Group (NCA) have directly appointed Construction Impact Framework (CIF) Supply Partner Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) to carry out consultancy services in relation to fire compliance works at Fairfield General Hospital.

RLB are to provide Project Management services to aid Fairfield General Hospital with requirements of fire compliance works. Multiple  areas have been identified as being areas requiring fire compliance works. 60 minute Fire Protection areas have been specifically selected to ensure Staff and Patient Safety as part of the horizontal and vertical evacuation strategy. Areas include: 

  • Main Corridor Fire Doors,Ward Entry Doors and compromised fire compartmentation lines (3 Floors) 
  • Basement Areas Fire Doors and compromised fire compartmentation lines 
  • Roof Plant Areas Fire Doors and compromised fire compartmentation lines 
  • Accommodation Block – Fire Doors and compromised fire compartmentation lines

RLB in partnership with CIF and NCA will determine the best plan for fire compliancy and assess CIF contractors to determine their suitability to carry out the works at Fairfield General Hospital. With the appointment of a contractor expected in the coming weeks with immediate mobilisation.
