Client: Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust
Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust procured refurbishment works via Construction Impact Framework in relation to the patient’s kitchen at Salford Royal Hospital. The works were to include a full refurbishment of the patients’ kitchen at the hospital with all works being carried out within a full operational environment.
The project was carried out across two phases was situated not just in an operational environment, but also adjacent to a live open kitchen for patients. The importance of infection control in the setting of hospital is of paramount importance, therefore works were highly sensitive.
Construction Impact Framework is a value based socially driven framework; please have a look at our social impact case studies to see how Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and Construction Impact Framework are changing lives through procurement. In the past, such investments made in partnership with SRFT include the provision of specialised wheelchairs for use by the volunteers service at Salford Royal Hospital, as well as the sponsorship of 20 places for young people on the Prince’s Trust Volunteers Programme. We are excited about the potential impact we can make on other people’s lives through future investments with SRFT.
