Liverpool City Council appoints Skyline Property Solutions to carry out school refurbishment works


Liverpool City Council through Construction Impact Framework (CIF) have appointed Skyline Property Solutions to carry out refurbishment works as part of the council’s Schools Refurbishment Programme. Skyline were appointed last month following mini competition through the framework and commenced works in July 2020 at Booker Avenue Junior School.

 

 

The works to be carried out by Skyline make up Phase 3 of the schools planned refurbishments. The refurbishment includes works to the front elevation ‘wing’ of the school building comprising of 8 classrooms, offices, stores, cloakrooms and toilets. The works comprise of:

  • First and second fix rewiring
  • Heating pipework and radiator replacement
  • Decoration
  • New flooring
  • Removal and replacement of external fire escape

The works carried out by Skyline are to are to be undertaken as phases of work starting in July 2020 through to January 2021 with a number of classrooms being decanted and moved to facilitate each phase.
