Liverpool City Council recently procured consultancy services via Construction Impact Framework (CIF) in relation to the colocation of a Job Centre Plus (previously located in Williamson Square) and a new One Stop Shop, to be situated on the first floor of the historic St John’s Market in Liverpool City Centre.

The colocation deal between the Government and local authority was the first in Merseyside, and provides a holistic approach to employment, tax, housing benefit and payment advice and services to the public, all of which will now be delivered under one roof.

The colocation strategy is part of the Department for Work and Pensions review of Job Centre service across the country which will save over £140 million a year for the next ten years.

Todd & Ledson were the CIF supply partner appointed to carry provide Quantity Surveying and Project Management services in relation to the project.
