Client: Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust
Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust recently appointed D&G Builders & Joiners Ltd. to carry out a package of small works across the Trust’s estate. A number of low-value refurbishment works at Fairfield General Hospital were packaged together and awarded to D&G Builders & Joiners to save costs throughout the procurement process, and ensure the schemes could get off the ground and be completed on time and on-budget.
This was one of a number of minor works schemes that a CIF supply partner was appointed to by current member over the spring. Feedback from our public-sector members indicates that procuring minor works can often prove challenging; here at CIF we believe we can help members overcome this challenge as we have a number of SME supply partners who are willing and capable of undertaking small works, all of whom can be appointed in an efficient, compliant manner.
