Client: Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust

Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust recently procured two minor refurbishment schemes via Construction Impact Framework (CIF) to be undertaken at the Trust’s Decontamination Unit and Endoscopy Unit at Salford Royal Hospital. The scope of works included ground works and a complete upgrade to the Endoscopy Unit.

City Build Manchester Ltd. were appointed via two separate direct appointments to carry out the works. Works are due to start on site shortly and following a relatively short schedule, should be completed by mid-August.

Construction Impact Framework is a value based socially driven framework; please have a look at our social impact case studies to see how Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and Construction Impact Framework are changing lives through procurement. In the past, such investments made in partnership with SRFT include the provision of specialised wheelchairs for use by the volunteers service at Salford Royal Hospital, as well as the sponsorship of 20 places for young people on the Prince’s Trust Volunteers Programme. We are excited about the potential impact we can make on other people’s lives through future investments with SRFT.
