Client: The University of Salford

The University of Salford recently procured a principal contractor via Construction Impact Framework’s (CIF) to undertake the strip-out and refurbishment of the basement area in the university’s Newton Building. The scope of works included refurbishment works (new doors, ceilings, partition walls), mechanical works (modification to the existing extract and ventilation system), electrical works (new power and data points, lighting and control access) as well as decoration works.

Following the conclusion of a mini-competition between CIF’s refurbishment supply partners, Skyline Property Solutions were appointed to carry out the works. Following a month long work schedule over the 2018 festive period, works completed in early January 2019, on time and on budget.
