Client: The University of Salford
The University of Salford recently appointed D&G Builder’s & Joiners Ltd via Construction Impact Framework (CIF) to undertake a refurbishment scheme at the university’s central campus to create a new space for the university’s new business incubator service; Launch. D&G Builders & Joiners Ltd were appointed via direct appointment to carry out the works including the light refurbishment of disused offices as well as the installation of new lighting and carpets, redecoration and the demolition of a partition wall.
Following a short schedule of works, the scheme is now complete and finished results look fantastic (as demonstrated by the picture below). This new space offers business owners a hot-desking area to run their business as well as a range of meeting rooms and networking space. The movable walls make the site perfect for new businesses who need a versatile and flexible space to make their business ideas a reality. Launch, through their space, also offers the businesses a wide range of support to make the venture of creating a business less daunting. With multiple businesses in the same position Launch is as much about office space as it is about creating valuable connections that can make starting a new business that little bit easier.
