Client: University of Salford
In early 2019 the University of Salford procured the installation of a temporary car park via Construction Impact Framework’s (CIF) general construction lot. The scheme was for the creation of a temporary car park at the site of the former Allerton Annexe building which was demolished. The scope of works comprised of removing insitu timber hoarding, the installation of a drainage run, installation of car park lighting, installation of temporary car park surfacing, base and binder course finishing level with the surrounding areas, over-painting of existing line markings and the new configuration and painting of line markings.
Following the completion of a mini-competition between CIF’s general construction supply partners, The Casey Group was the contractor appointed to carry out the works. Works have commenced and are due to complete on-site in mid-July.
